Nurses in Indian Army are inducted as officers and are called as Nursing Officers under Military Nursing Services. After their successful training, a nursing cadet gets the rank of lieutenant after training. So, the salary is the same as that of an officer in the Armed Forces. There are some changes related to their allowances, but the grade pay and the basic pay are the same.
