Born on 15 Sep 1915 , Honorary Captain Karam Singh belong to the Bhaliawala village in Sangrur district of Punjab. His father Sardar Uttam Singh was a farmer.  Since his childhood he was fond of thrill and adventure.  He was inspired to join army by his uncle as he was JCO in army. Indian navy conducts AA/SSR exam twice a year. It is for the recruitment of unmarried male candidates for enrolment as sailors for Artificer Apprentice (AA) and Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR)The first phase of the examination is online test and those who pass this will be qualified to go for the next round which is Physical Fitness test. Day After Successful test flight, government clears procurement of 83 Tejas Jets of IAF
