Indian vaccine manufacturer Serum Institute of India (SII) has sought formal approval for the emergency use of “Covishield”, a Covid-19 vaccine from Oxford in India on 06 December 2020. According to media reports, Serum has sought permission from the Controller General of Indian Medicine (DCGI) to use the emergency of its Corona vaccine ‘Kovishield’. Ministry of Defense will deploy Volunteers who will raise funds for the families of martyrs and Divyang soldiers
The Union Home Ministry will deploy Volunteers at the four entry and exit gates of North Block in New Delhi on 7 December to collect funds for the families of soldiers who lost their lives on duty or disabled. 7 December is observed as Armed Forces Flag Day and is being funded at the request of the Ministry of Defense. According to an order of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Volunteers will receive donations from people and officials visiting the offices of the Northern Ministry which consists of the key ministries. RBI directs HDFC Bank to stop selling new credit cards
The Reserve Bank of India has asked a private sector lender, HDFC Bank, to discontinue the new sourcing of credit cards to customers on a temporary basis, along with its digital launch. The central bank has also asked the bank to stop launching digital business-generating activities that are employed under Digital 2.0 as well as other proposed business IT applications. The Supreme Court has issued a directive to install CCTV in police stations across the country on 02 December 2020. The Supreme Court has directed the states and union territories across the country to implement the court order in the right spirit.
