Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Saryu Canal National Project worth Rs 9,802 crore in Balrampur district of Uttar Pradesh on 11 December 2021. PM Modi first inspected the model related to the Saryu canal project along with the Governor and CM. After that, by pressing the button, the country’s largest irrigation project was launched. It is being told that due to the Saryu Canal National Project, more than 14 lakh hectares of land will be irrigated. Nine districts connecting Bahraich to Gorakhpur will benefit from this project. With this, about 14 and a half lakh hectares can be irrigated.

IMA Passing Out Parade 2021 : On Saturday, 319 cadets joined the Indian Army after passing out from the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun. Of these, maximum 45 Gentleman Cadets will pass out from UP. The youth of Uttarakhand have also made an edge this time. Big decision of DGCA, ban on international flights till 31 January
India’s civil aviation regulator DGCA has extended the ban on international commercial flights scheduled on 09 December 2021 till 31 January. Earlier, India had announced plans to resume scheduled commercial international passenger services from December 15 with certain conditions. The Central Directorate General of Aviation (DGCA) on December 01 said that it is ‘closely monitoring’ the situation emerging out of the Omicron form of COVID-19 and is in final consultation with stakeholders on resumption of near-normal international flight operations. Decision will be taken. The DGCA said that India will suspend its scheduled international passenger flights till January 31 next year.
