Vice Admiral Srikanth Passes Away Due To Corona

Vice Admiral Srikanth of the Indian Navy died of corona-borne complications at Base Hospital here on Tuesday morning. Senior Navy submarine officers were scheduled to retire on 31 December.

Condoling the death of Vice-Admiral Srikanth, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that the untimely demise of Seabird Director General and Vice Admiral Srikanth is extremely sad. The Navy and the Ministry of Defense will always remember him for his remarkable service to the nation.

A junior officer subordinate to Vice Admiral Srikanth said that he was admitted to Base Hospital in Delhi after being corona infected. His corona test came negative on Sunday morning, but he had trouble breathing in the evening. He was then shifted to ICU and placed on ventilator.

Vice Admiral Srikanth was earlier the Inspector General of Nuclear Safety and also Commandant of National Defense College.
