First night trial of Agni II Missile

In the lieu of this DRDO  test the night trial  of Agni II missile  from Dr. Abdul Kalam Island

Features of AGNI II

• Advanced Systems Laboratory with DRDO develop the Agni II missile.
• The range  of  strike of the missile  set upto 2000 to 5000 km.
• Agni II missile is the surface to surface missile , a versatile missile and also a nuclear capable missile of medium range.
• It was launched  at Launch Complex 4 of the Integrated Test Range(ITR) by mobile launcher.
• Indian Armed force already includes Agni II missile .
• It is a two phase missile and also well furnished with high accuracy navigation system.
• Bharat Dynamic Limited which is located in Hyderabad  integrates the missile Agni II.
• It is also a part of Agni series missiles.

About test trial

•  Indian army with DRDO form Strategic Forces Command (SFC) for testing different  missile launched.
• To keep an eye on trial path following stations and equipment  have been setup.
  • an observation stations,
  • A battery of radars  and also
  • Electro- optic instruments
• Besides above all 2 Naval ships also observing the impact point from area of Bay of Bengal.
