Courage:
This is an inborn quality a person possesses and if not it isn’t that hard to be cultivated too. An aspiring officer must act bravely in every situation, he is the backbone of his subordinates, and if he acts fearlessly his soldiers to get courage and will act the same.
Determination:
A person must be determined enough to achieve their goals even if the situation looks difficult to conquer.
Effective Intelligence:
It requires a practical approach to life. It is the ability to find the best and effective way to solve a problem in the least time using only the available resources.
Power of Expression:
This ability is related to your way of communication. It is the ability of a person to express his views and ideas in a simple and clear manner irrespective of any language.

A good leader must be active and cheerful no matter what the condition is. He must have the capacity to remain cheerful and happy and try to make their soldiers the same.

An officer has the ability to organize things effectively and efficiently. This reflects their clarity of thoughts.
Reasoning Ability:
It refers to the ability to solve problems under various complex and extreme situations. Here practice pays a lot.
Self Confidence:
It is the most important factor a great leader should possess. It is important to have faith in yourself then only others will believe in you.
Sense of Responsibility:
You must be ever ready to accept responsibilities. It is the ability of a person to accept the task and fulfill the same effect.
