How to Join NDA “National Defence Academy”

To join the National Defence Academy (NDA), you must follow the following steps:

Meet the Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must be an Indian citizen and should have completed 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognized board.

Apply Online: Candidates must apply for the NDA entrance exam online on the official website of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Admit Card: Candidates will receive their admit card before the examination date, which will have details like the exam center, date, and time of the exam.

Clear the Entrance Exam: The NDA exam consists of a written test followed by an interview conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB).

Medical Examination: Candidates who clear the written test and interview will have to undergo a medical examination to ensure that they are medically fit to join the academy.

Merit List: Based on the performance of candidates in the written test, interview, and medical examination, a merit list is prepared.

Joining NDA: Candidates who secure a place in the merit list will be called for training at NDA. Once the training is completed, they will be commissioned as officers in the Indian Army, Navy, or Air Force.
