Factors On Which an Officer Conducts Interview of SCO & PCSl Entry

During Service Entry like SCO and PC SL, The Service Entry Aspirants are Interviewed and on basis of Interview Applicants Form is Either Forwarded ahead or Rejected

In this Blog we are going to discuss about the Parameters on Which a Commanding Officer decides weather to hold the application or forward it To Div Head Quarters.

The Qualities which Are Seen in Service Entry Aspirants Of SCO and PCSL are

(a) Appearance and bearing (smartness, turnout and military bearing)

(b) Discipline (personal conduct both on and off parade)

(d) Dependability (can be relied upon to complete the assigned task without supervision)

(e) Command and Control (can effectively command his subordinates, delegates and supervises work effectively)

(f) Initiative and drive (takes necessary and appropriate action on his own without looking for direction at each stage, shows enthusiasm and executes work vigorously)

(g) Security consciousness (is well versed with security orders and instructions, is always security minded and shows security awareness)

(h) Technical skill (sound theoretical and practical knowledge of SCO related appointments)

In the Interview An Officer Gives Marks To The Questions he ask .Each Question Carries Marks.

Each of the above qualities are awarded Marks and overall grading out of 9 is as under:-

Outstanding -9 Above Average – 8 or 7

High Average -6 or 5 Average – 4

Low Average -3 or 2 Below Average –1

In this Manner The Candidates of SCO and PCSL arealotted marks and Their Future of Application Form depends on marks they obtain.
