Once Airforce Agniveer is Selected Air Men are being subject to 12 weeks Joint Basic Phase Training which is being held in Belgaum Karnataka Where General Service Training and General Service Knowledge is taught. Once Joint Phase Training is Conducted  for 12 weeks training, ‘X’ and ‘Y’ Group trainings are held in different stations.

In this Blog we are going to Discuss Training Institutes of Air Force X Group. The details of the institutes are as follows:-

1. Automobile Fitter: Mechanical Transport Training Institute- Chennai for 6-9 months.

2. Mechanical Fitter: specialized mechanics for the vehicles. The training is held in Workshop Training Institute- Tambram, Chennai

3. Propulsion Fitter: Mechanical Training Institute, Tambram Chennai

4. Structural Fitter: Mechanical Training Institute, Tambram Chennai

5. Weapon Fitter: Earlier it was held in HAL but now it is held in Mechanical Training Institute, Tambram Chennai but sometime for specialized training ‘X’ group arimens were sent to HAL also .

6. Electronics Fitter: looks after the metres and electronic wirings and the training is held in Electronic Training Institute, Jalalhalli, Banglore along with HAL base in Banglore

7. Electrical Fitter: Electrical & Instrumentation Training Institute- Jalhalli, Banglore
