Often Candidates have one Doubt whether they can be allotted Their Fathers Regiment Or not? To answer This Question-Yes Gentleman Cadets can Claim Their Fathers Regiment Through Parental Claim

Parental Claim is Offered to Candidates under 3 Circumstances:-

PC1- When Candidates Father has Commanded any Battalion or His father was Subedar Major in the Battalion. In such a Scenario under PC1 Gentleman Cadet can get their Fathers Regiment

PC2- When Candidates Father has won any Gallantry Awards then Through PC2 A Gentleman Cadet can get his Fathers Regiment

PC3- When Candidates Father is or was of Lt Col Rank Or Equivalent in the Batallion then through PC3 The Gentleman Cadet can get his Fathers Regiment

It is through Parental Claim that the Gentleman Cadets can get their Fathers Regiment
