The full name of CAPF is Central Armed Police Forces and it is the security forces protecting the country from internal threats, it is competitive through which Central Armed Police Force i.e. CAPF is recruited for the post of Assistant Commandant, for this UPSC i.e. Union Public Service Commission conducts the exam, this exam is offline once a year, through the exam, CISF, ITBP, SSB, BSF are recruited in all CRPF.

CAPF Full Form : Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

If we talk about nationality, then the candidate should be an Indian citizen, the candidates of Bhutan and Nepal can also apply for this.

Age Limit

If we talk about the age limit, then the lower age-limit for CRPF exam is 20 years and the upper age-limit is less than 25 years, it is calculated from the 1st of August of the exam year, the number of the candidate who appeared in this exam. Should not be born earlier than 2nd August 1995 and should not be born later than 2nd August 1995.

Age Relaxation given to the candidate

-SC/ST candidates are given relaxation of 5 years in upper age.

• OBC candidates have been given relaxation of 3 years and Civilian Central Government and X-Serviceman for 5 years.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have a recognized university degree, final year students can also apply. Candidates with having B & C certificate of NCC will be given preference in interview.

Physical Standard

If we talk about the physical standard, then the height of the male candidate should be at least 165 cm and the height of the female candidate should be 157 cm. The weight of a male candidate should be at least 50 kg and that of the female candidate should be at least 46 kg. The chest of male candidates is 81 cm and this condition is not applied to female candidates.
