PM Narendra Modi to give gift of indigenous power to the army via ‘Rashtra Raksha Samarpan Parv’

A three-day ‘Rashtra Raksha Samarpan Parv’ is starting from November 17 in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh under the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will start the ceremony organized by the Ministry of Defense and the Government of Uttar Pradesh and Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself will be present for its conclusion on November 19 and in the evening PM Modi will send indigenous people to the country and all the three parts of the army from Jhansi fort. Under self-reliant India, the PM will hand over the indigenous Light Combat Helicopter to the Air Force Chief. This combat helicopter has been made by HAL in India. Its special thing is that this state of art combat helicopter is the only such helicopter in the world in the segment of 5 to 8 tons, which can fly with full load from a height of 16000 feet. The Indian Air Force has to take 40 such helicopters.

PM Modi will also hand over drones made by new startups in the country to the Indian Army to promote drone technology, while electronic warfare suits prepared by DRDO and Bharat Electronics Limited for the Navy will also be handed over. To promote self-reliant India, two defense corridors are being built in the country, one in Tamil Nadu and the other in Uttar Pradesh. Six different nodes have been created in the UP Defense Corridor, of which Jhansi is also one.

PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of the first project at the Jhansi node of the UP Defense Corridor. During this, he will also lay the foundation stone of a unit of Propulsion System for Anti Tank Guided Missile System at a cost of 400 crores of Defense PSU on 183 acres of land. The UP government has allotted 1034 hectares of land for this entire corridor. The Prime Minister will start the NCC Alumni Association for the ex-cadets of the NCC. Since PM Modi has been an NCC cadet, he himself will subscribe as the first member. To become a live member, ex-NCC students will be able to become a part of this alumni by paying a fee of Rs.100.
