Meeting of top army commanders : Top Army commanders of the Indian Army will review the situation and the challenges in the sensitive areas along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with Eastern Ladakh and China. The four-day review meeting will start from Monday. In this meeting, the areas related to the LAC, the situation and issues related to the security of the country will be discussed. According to information received from sources, the army commanders will also discuss the killings of civilians in the Union Territories and security in Jammu and Kashmir in the last few weeks.
The Army said that Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat, Navy Chief Admiral Karambir Singh and Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari and Chief of Army Staff MM Naravane. Will also be involved will also be present in it. This conference will be held in Delhi.
In this meeting, the country’s preparedness in the event of war in eastern Ladakh will be reviewed where there has been a standoff between India and China for the last 17 months. However, in the meantime, troops have been withdrawn from many areas of conflict from both the countries.

According to sources, in this meeting of this army commander, possible threats arising on Indian territories after the Taliban occupation of Afghanistan can also be discussed. Earlier, by issuing a statement on behalf of the Army, it has been said that the second Military Commanders’ Conference to be held in 2021 will be held in New Delhi from October 25 to October 28. Earlier this conference was held in April.
On behalf of the army, it has been said that in this conference, the top commander of the army will discuss the current crisis and all possible security threats and administrative aspects for India in future, so that the situation on the borders and the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. After that the future direction for the Indian Army can be decided. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh can interact with top Army commanders.
This conference organized by the army is a top-level event. In this, many big policy decisions related to the security of the Indian Army and the country are taken. This conference is held twice a year. The first conference is held in the month of April while the second is held in the month of October.
