Army Jawan Surendra Kaliramana Gets Martyred While Fighting Terrorists in Kashmir

Jawan Surendra Kaliramana, a resident of village Kharkari in Hisar, was martyred in the Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir. On Tuesday, 24-year-old constable Surendra Kaliramana was cremated with military honors in the village. Surendra had attained Veergati on Sunday while taking on the terrorists.

Surendra Kaliramana, 24-year-old resident of village Kharkari, had come to his village on 15 July on a leave of 20 days. On August 5, after the end of the leave, returned by flight from Delhi. On 7 August, he was martyred while fighting terrorists during the army’s search operation in Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

On Monday, the news of martyr Surendra Kaliramana’s martyrdom reached home. The mortal remains of the martyr reached the village at 9 am on Tuesday. The last salute was given in the presence of army officers and administrative officers at the village crematorium.
