Indian Navy AA/SSR 2021 Result: The Indian Navy has announced the results of the Artificer Apprentice (AA) and Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) exams for the February 2022 batch. Candidates who took the exam can view and download the results from the official website joinindiannavy.gov.in. The Indian Navy’s AA and SSR exams were held in December. A multi-domain tri-service exercise is currently in progress at the strategically important Nicobar group of islands of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, military officials said on Wednesday. Swadeshi next-generation AERVs inducted into Army
The first set of indigenously developed next-generation Armoured Engineer Reconnaissance Vehicle (AERV) was inducted into the Corps of Engineers of the Army on Tuesday, a defense release said. Army chief General M M Naravane inducted the vehicles and flagged them off in a ceremony at the Bombay Engineer Group (BEG) at Khadki near Pune. The system has been designed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and manufactured by Ordnance Factory Medak & Bharat Electronics Limited, Pune. India successfully tests Pralay missile off Odisha coast
India on Wednesday successfully test-fired short-range, the surface to surface-guided ballistic missile ‘Pralay’ off the Odisha coast, DRDO sources said. The solid-fuel, battlefield missile developed by Defence Research Development Organisation is based on Prithvi Defence Vehicle from the Indian ballistic missile programme. The missile, launched from the APJ Abdul Kalam Island around 10.30 am, met all the mission objectives, the sources said. A battery of tracking instruments monitored its trajectory along the coastline, they said. ‘Pralay’ is a 350-500 km short-range, surface-to-surface missile with a payload capacity of 500-1,000 kg.
