Australian government amends its national anthem to honor indigenous people
On 31 December 2020, Prime Minister of Australia Scott Morrison informed that the country has brought its national anthem ‘Advance Australia Fair’ in a new form to recognize the country’s indigenous communities and history. This change has been implemented in the national anthem on 01 January 2021. The first line of the national anthem, “Let all Australians rejoice, because we are young and free”, will now end with “one more free”. European Union leaders have signed the famous Brexit trade agreement on 30 December 2020 as the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement.
