66th National Film Award 2019
On August 9, 2019Â 66th National film awards were announced. The award ceremony is held at Shastri Bhawan in New Delhi. The award is delayed by 3 months due to elections of Lok Sabha. It was started in 1954 . The jury which are selected and appointed by the government selects the winners in each categories. the awards are categories in three sections: Features film Non feature films Best writing on Cinema It was announced on every year in April and ceremony in May. Bharat Ratna Award 2019
TheGovernment of India has announced the Bharat Ratna Awardees . Bharat Ratna award is India’s highest civilian honour given by the President of India. Our Former President Pranab Mukherjee, Late singer Bhupen Hazarika and late RSS leader Nanaji Deshmukh were awarded Bharat Ratna on 8 August at a grand ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Gallantry Award to the pilots for their immense job in Balakot attack
The Government announced the gallantry award to IAF pilots who participated in the airstrike of Balakot to give lesson and revenge of Pulwama attack on soldiers . Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman and Balakot pilots are nominated for the top military honours for their bravery. WC ABhinandan will be awarded by Vir Chakra and the other pilots will be awarded by Vayu Sena Medal.
