The technical trade is also termed as ‘X’ group and Non-technical as ‘Y’ group. This X & Y group candidates are called as Airmen or PBOR i.e. Person below officer rank. Airmen Of Indian Air Force Henceforth will be Known as Agniveer Vayu.
Agniveer Vayu with Science and Without Science Both can apply the Forms.Male and Female candidates of Science stream in Class 12th i.e. Physics and Mathematics can apply for X group and Male and Female candidates of any stream in 12th class can apply for Y group examination of Indian Air Force.
Features Of Air Force X and Y Batches in Trishul Defence Academy
Trishul Defence Academy was started in year 2003 by Late Wing Commander Anoop Mehrotra. Since 2003 Trishul Defence academy has continuously Contributed to Indian Air Force by giving quite number of Airmens Through Air Force X and Air Force Y Exams.

1. Separate Agniveer Air Force Batches are Provided in Trishul Defence Academy.There is no mixing of Batches thus Target Oriented Studies are Conducted in Agniveer Air Force Batches.
2. Thorough Explanation of all the Subjects along with Short cut Tricks are shared with Updated Study Materials.Agniveer Air Force Classes in Trishul Defence Academy are Provided by Educators who have Experience of More Than 18 yrs in Subjects like English,Maths and Physics, Gk and RAGA
3. Online Test Series Is Offered to Agniveer Aspirants so that their Practice can be done thoroughly. Mock Tests as many as 15 are given to them which are all Online Tests
4. Classes are Bilingual (Hindi and Eng Medium) and Short Cut Tricks are given for Maths so that time can be saved.Regular Speed Tests are Conducted so That Agniveer Vayu Aspirants Solve Questions Well Within the Time.

Selection Procedure: | Stage-I Online Exam. Stage-II Physical Fitness Test (PFT). Stage-III No SRT. Stage-IV Adaptability Test-II (Group Discussion). Stage-V Medical Examination. Stage-VI All India Merit List Announcement. Note - All the above Tests are conducted by Central Airmen Selection Board (CASB). |
