Trishul was founded in 2004 by Late Wing Commander Anoop Mehrotra (Ex-NDA/ Ex-GTO), popularly known as the “SSB Guru” who had been serving the nation by giving excellent results at national level and producing future officer selects. Colonel Pankaj Mehrotra (Retd.)

Director

Col. Pankaj Mehrotra is the current honourable director of Trishul Defence Academy – India’s leading defence coaching institute. He is an UP Sainik School alumnus of 1977 batch. He is former alumni of the Defence Institution, National Defence Academy (NDA). He was a cadet of NDA 59th Course. After passing out from NDA and he got commissioned into the Indian Army as Lieutenant in the year1981.

He is a retired Army officer with vast and distinguished career experience of around 40 years where he held various active roles from being an army instructor to that of an Interviewing Officer at (11th and 34th Board in Allahabad) & (21st and 22nd Board in Bhopal) respectively and also held the post of Deputy President -Service Selection Boards (SSBs).

Colonel A.S Rawat (Retd.)

SSB Mentor

Col A.S Rawat Col A.S Rawat is an indian army veteran with 32 years of service career. The officer has held various commands, staff and instrumental appointments during his service in indian army.

He is an alumni of National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla and also served as class a instructor in this prestigious institution. The officer is also a graduate of defense services staff college, wellington and a recipient of chief of staff commendation card. Currently Col A.S Rawat is associated with Trishul Defence Academy Dehradun.

Brigadier Amar Narayan (Retd.)

Center Head & Mentor

Brigadier Amar Narayan has over 38 years service in Indian Army. His did his initial schooling from Sainik School tilaiya. He joined National Defence Academy in Jun 1981 and was commissioned in Army air defence branch in June 1985.

He has served in various challenging assignments during his long and illustrious carreer to include Siachen Glacier, counter insurgency operations in Jammu and Kashmir and counter militancy operations in Assam. He commanded Air Defence Regiment in Jammu and Kashmir and later the elite Air Defence Brigade. He also held the prestigious appointment of commandent Army Air Defence Centre which is responsible to train all the recruits who join the Corps of Indian Army Defence.

He had the privilege to be the President of Services Selection Board ie SSB at Allahabad for more than 3 years during which he screened and interviewed more than 3000 candidates. He has been professor at many prestigious Defence Colleges to train Army Officers to include Army Air Defence College Gopalpur and Armoured Corps College at Ahmednagar. He loves to mentor and guide the children who want to join the defence forces of India.

Colonel Somitra Dutta (Retd.)

GTO Officer

Colonel Somitra Dutta (Retd.) is an Indian Army veteran who has served in various responsibilities over a span of 25 years of service career. He has been awarded the prestigious Sena Medal, COAS Commendation Card & Mention-in-Dispatches for act of gallantry and distinguished services. He has also served at Selection Centre, Kapurthala as Sr. GTO and assessed approx 2500 candidates for stage I and 1000 candidates for stage II. He has also served abroad as Military Observer [MILOB] in the United Nations Mission.

Currently he serves as an esteemed SSB faculty at Trishul Defence Academy which is the best SSB coaching in Allahabad (Prayagraj). Under his guidance defence aspirants get benefited in advance preparation for GTO phase of SSB Interview process.
